- Eesha Karavade is a prominent chess player in Maharashtra. She holds the title of the "Woman Grandmaster" that she got in 2005. She also holds the title of "International Grandmaster" that she earned in 2010.
- She was born in Pune on 21st November, 1987.
- She was awarded with the "Shiv Chhatrapati Award" conferred by the Government Of Maharashtra in 2004.
- Eesha secured one gold medal and two silver medals along with her team at Asian Nations Cup held in Tabriz in 2014. She was 27 years when she won the gold medal.
- She also won a gold medal in the "Commonwealth Chess Championship" which was held in South Africa in 2011.
